In 2025, you can look forward to unforgettable events at the Bella Riva restaurant, in our Sunset Lounge or directly on Müritz beach. From our popular beach party to festive buffets, Grill & Chill and Magic Dinner Shows, pianist Hans Howitz will also be transforming the beach into a stage this year.

Together with Yacht-Tours, we offer stylish skippered trips on a modern motor yacht. Set sail directly from our own MAREMÜRITZ marina and let an experienced skipper guide you to the most beautiful swimming spots and hidden hotspots in the region. Enjoy the vastness of the lake, the sunset with a glass of wine on deck and that relaxed holiday feeling.
Adventure Müritzeum
From diving expeditions in the deep pool to ‘Vampires of the Air’ and ‘A Journey with Cranes, Ospreys and Co.’, there is something exciting for everyone at the Müritzeum. And when the weather is not so nice, but rather dreary and wet, the Müritzeum in Waren offers shelter with exciting knowledge about the diversity of nature. Culturally, we have a lot to offer our guests together with the island town of Malchow. For example, visit the following museums in Malchow: Mecklenburg Organ Museum, GDR Everyday Life Museum, Malchow Monastery Art Museum, Kiek in un winner di – Museum of Curiosities. Malchow is only a 30-minute drive from Waren.

New at the Fleesensee sports facilities: Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania’s first indoor padel court. Padel combines tennis and squash – it’s fast, dynamic and easy to learn. Long rallies, tactics and team spirit make for pure fun. The aim is to hit the ball over the net into the opponent’s court – walls included!

There are plenty of designated cycling and hiking trails through the countryside for professionals and less experienced cyclists and hikers alike. All types of bikes can be easily hired locally. Hiking enthusiasts can discover the natural beauty of the Müritz National Park. Did you know that there are 230 km of cycling and hiking trails here? If you wish, you can bring your own bikes with you.

For real water lovers, Lake Müritz is an absolute paradise… Whether you just want to enjoy the wonderful sea air, get active on the waves or get your boat licence, anything is possible. Boats of various sizes are available to hire from April to October directly at our own marina. There are always free spaces available for mooring your own boat.

Enjoy the variety of activities on the water.
Stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking and surfing are popular with young and old alike. With a thick wetsuit, you’ll feel much more comfortable on your SUP on cooler days. SUPs, boats and surfboards can be hired on site. There are designated areas for surfers. And fishing enthusiasts can look forward to a good catch in the surrounding lakes. For those who prefer canoeing, we have some great starting points and rental companies at our disposal.

Culture and art
The Müritz region is a lively cultural landscape with many different facets. Impressive residences, mighty castles and outstanding art collections: discover highlights of architectural culture and magnificent heirlooms of former residents. How about Penzlin Castle and the exhibition ‘Everyday Magic and Witch Hunts in Mecklenburg’?
The idyllic landscape of Mecklenburg has always attracted artists. Among others, the writer Hans Fallada found the inspiration he needed here. The sculptor and graphic artist Ernst Barlach also spent his most creative years here. The region honours active artists from the region with an annual exhibition.

Explore the waters by canoe, sailing boat or motorboat. With the marina right on your doorstep, there are 20 boats available for you to discover the lake district – even without a boat licence.
